Cattelan Italia is known for its architectural tables, like the Skorpio. But the creativity and attention to detail shown by its designers are apparent in all of Cattelan’s collections, from office chairs to lighting to carpets. Cattelan is 100-percent-Italian premium quality in all its splendor.

History

Founded on balance and excellence by Giorgio and Silvia Cattelan in 1979, the brand was born from a shared passion for art, design and innovation. It was shaped by Giorgio’s creative and entrepreneurial drive, together with Silvia’s refined eye and organizational vision. Over time, Cattelan Italia has built an international presence, bringing Made in Italy design to homes around the world while continuously exploring new forms, finishes, and manufacturing techniques.

Origin

Every Cattelan Italia piece is made in Italy, produced through a close network of highly specialized partners working within the brand’s territory. This collaborative approach ensures superior craftsmanship at every stage, from material selection to finishing, and combines advanced technologies with local artisanal expertise.

Customization

Cattelan Italia’s furniture is conceived as a flexible design system. A wide range of customization options allows each piece to respond to diverse aesthetic and spatial needs. Choices include transparent or decorated glass, finely shaped wood, ceramics, lacquered or hand-brushed finishes, as well as soft upholstery and premium leathers, for furniture that feels both personal and perfectly integrated into its surroundings.

Sustainability

At Cattelan Italia, sustainability is closely tied to longevity and responsible production. By manufacturing exclusively in Italy and working with a network of specialized local partners, the brand maintains strict quality control while reducing unnecessary transportation. Each piece is designed to endure both in construction and style, reflecting a commitment to durability, material integrity and thoughtful manufacturing.
